We were driving to a Pandal and on the way we just saw this Pandal. It looked very different and so we stopped to see what it was.
It was a full depiction of Old Calcutta. The pandal was setup by North Kolkata Sarbojanin. The theme was Jolchhaper Kolkata (Kolkata in watermarks). Even the Durga was having watermarks all over her.
The paintings and depictions of Old Calcutta was very good. The unfortunate reality is that a lot of things that are depicted are in the new Kolkata too. 😕
We then went to a Pandal which had more than the usual suspects. It was close to our hotel. But it had too many idiots. If someone can identify all of them, please put it in the comments.
