This was a quick Pandal visit. We were already over stimulated mentally after the Salt Lane FD Block Pandal. So to wear things down we took a walk.
This BJ Block Pandal is one of those whose exterior is super grand but the interior is okish. Like the Sreebhumi one.
The theme was the Somnath temple. What was interesting was all the sculptures were made using Polystyrene (thermacoal). The Pandal was huge (full size temple) but the interiors were a little mid.
It started raining by the time we left. Oh man, when it rains in Kolkata, it’s heavy. No spray rain like Bangalore. The rain has a character too.
