I learnt to make Silver Jewellery

I was sitting at a hostel room and a girl there showed an earring and said she made it herself. Intrigued, I asked her where she learnt making jewellery and she said there are jewellery making classes in Pushkar. Thrilled, I got the details. The next day, I was in the class.

I have always been amazed by jewellery making. I have seen a lot of random YouTube videos on jewellery making. While it’s definitely satisfying to see, I also liked the art. And if someone could teach me, wow. I would love that.

There are two people who teach how to make silver jewellery in Pushkar. Both are amazing. They are fun to work with. They teach you all the basics. And once you have learnt them, you understand that sky is the limit in making jewellery. The more creative you are the better jewellery you can make.

Once I got the hang I started making more and more jewellery. I made rings, studs, earrings, pendants. I throughly loved the experience.

Completed. Polish pending.

It took me a couple of days to get the hang of it. I made all these jewellery in three days. I was thoroughly satisfied with what I did. It was such a fulfilling experience.

If you are visiting Pushkar, and you have time in your hands and want to learn to make silver jewellery, do try it. You will enjoy it.

I loved my time making jewellery and my teacher Divya was such and awesome person to learn and work with.
