I visited the Dilwara temples in Mt. Abu. It is also like the Jain temple in Ranakpur. You can read my experience about Ranakpur here. It was sheer bliss.
The Dilwara temples were also extremely beautiful. I am no judge to compare Ranakpur and Dilwara temples. They are extremely beautiful and magical that I am have no worth to comment on what was good and bad.
The bad part about Dilwara was there were no guides and cameras were not allowed. They did not let me get back a piece of that memory like I was able to do for Ranakpur. There are some photos if you search on the internet. They do little justice to the feeling you get when you are there.
I would recommend a trip to anyone from anywhere in India to Udaipur/Jodhpur and just visit these two temples and return back. The trip will still be worth it.
