I visited Mt.Abu and it is a hill station on the Aravalli Hills.
Story – 1: This is the highest point in the Aravalli Range. The name of the spot is Gurushikhar
Story – 2: The Aravallis are the oldest mountains of the world. Yes. Of the world.
Story -3: The Aravalli span across Delhi Rajasthan and Gujarat. Most of my Solo travel this time is around the Aravalli.
Story – 4: The starting point if Aravalli is the Delhi University campus. A place referred to as Couples Rock. DU folks might know this spot well.
Story – 5: More than 10 civilisations dating more than five thousand years ago are all around the Aravalli. It was a good spot for Humans to settle.
Story – 6: Aravallis are extremely rich in the minerals they possess. Most of the zinc mined in India are arguably from the Aravallis.
Story – 7: The second highest peak of Aravalli is also in Mt. Abu. It’s where the beautiful Diwara temples are located.
