At Udaipur I visited a wax museum. I did not plan to go there. While I was randomly walking I saw the board and out of curiosity entered. Though short, it was worth the my first visit at wax a museum.

All the figures were life size. Some figures did not look like their people counterparts. But it was fun.

The detailing on the face was very good. However I doubt if Gandhi looked like this. It looks more like an old man.

I liked this because it really looked like someone standing. If you see the image quickly it will feel like Patel uncle standing for a quick pose.

About 15 years ago, every person who went to the US used to go to a wax museum and post a photo with the US President standing next to them. I was wondering that in India, it should be Narendra Modi standing next to me and not Obama. Then I understood. We all know how the Oval Office looks like. It has been shown in many movies and webseries. But we don’t know how the office of the Prime Minister of India looks like. Without everybody knowing about how the office looks, the photo in Modi’s office won’t look real. Makes sense right?

It’s told everywhere that some of the Rajput kings were HUGE. Like Maharana Pratap was 7 feet 5 inches in height apparently. Rana Khumba (another Rajput king) was 8-9 feet in height. This is apparently a life size statue of Maharana Pratap as described in some history texts.
I wonder where these tall genes went away suddenly. This was hardly 500 years ago. Which means in 8-9 generations all his descendants lost more two feet in height? Strange for evolution to work so quickly.

This doesn’t look like Mr. Bean. But common. It’s a decent attempt. And me, adding dirt about myself publicly on the internet.

Hope all the women reading this post felt a little happy seeing the picture. A photo with him in the wax museum is the closest most Indian girl fans can get. So go to Udaipur.

There was also an infinite room with mirrors all over to make it look like the room is never ending on all sides. It was an interesting but failed attempt.
