Had a fantastic Gujarati thali. It had the colours textures and tastes all covered. Ok. I have to agree that everything was sweet including the Samosa.
I did some basic research and found this place Aditi Hall which serves good Thali. It was unlimited (everything including papad, sweet and chaas). It tasted really good, or I was very hungry.
The best part I liked was the digestive mix that they gave at the end. It had no sweet in it and hence it was a welcome change in taste. All the spices were mildly toasted and that gave a light and nutty flavour and crispy texture.
It’s hot here in Ahmedabad. Like dry and hot.
