Have I missed something ??

I pack light as I like it that way. But however meticulously I make a list and pack, there is a constant thought in the head.

“You are missing something”

Sometimes the thought is worse. When I am about to board a flight, a thought passes 

“You have missed something in the airport”

Where do these thought come from. And why do they recur even they are proven to be useless??
