Before I start on the trip, I am penning down my thoughts. I will try to keep an active blog of my trip and also see how things actually pan out compared to how I wanted/expected them to be.
Why?
While the simple reason is to merely experience solo travel. It’s also apparently considered cool. The deeper reason was to find out if I really like it. I like the company of people and I do not know if there is a part of me who actually likes being alone for extended durations of time. This trip will hopefully provide that clarity.
Where?
I am generally a South Indian and have not travelled in the North as much. I did not want to do a trip outside of India due to budgetary as well as family FOMO constraints. So this will be generally in the North. And by North I mean, north of the southern four (sorry five) states. I will have an open mind and go to the place I feel like going. I will however start with Gujarat.
When?
The end of the year is always a holiday season and no one notices even you are there are not. Best time to hide in broad daylight.
How?
I plan to mostly travel by public transport. If I do stay at a place for more than two or three days, I would prefer to take a bike to roam around nearby. Hopefully, I am not walking from city to city.
